annu bio + artist statement
I am a sonic and immersive artist, guided by the conviction that “beauty will save the world.” Through audio-visual storytelling performances—shaped live with synthesizers and MI.MU music gloves that let gesture conduct both sound and light—I craft a Future Dream Pop landscape meant to deepen connection and transport us to otherworldly realms.
Rooted in music as my first language, my practice has expanded over the past decade from releasing records and touring stages to designing immersive installations and visual stories. Across these mediums, I explore our relationship with the Cosmos—both the vast universe beyond and the boundless interior within.
From producing storytelling experiences with astronauts to scoring planetarium dome shows to touring live immersive performances, I have sought to share transformative perspectives that inspire awe and wonder. The heart of my purpose as an artist is to unveil the beauty of the world around us and create experiences that expand the way we see ourselves in time and space.
As a new mother, I have found renewed clarity in what drives my work. This journey of matrescence has strengthened my commitment to creating art that fosters a nurturing sense of presence, awe, and interconnectedness—values I wish to pass on to my daughter and the greater community I aim to serve.
In addition to creating immersive experiences and touring my shows, I released my debut EP, “LOVE,” in June 2024, and my debut full-length record, “EXPERIENCE,” in December, 2024. I am continually writing new music and designing unique ways to share it with the world.
