About Annu

Annu is an experiential artist driven by awe and wonder — a music producer with a deep love for exploring new methods of expression through experimental technology. Many of the themes she weaves into her work come directly from her life as a space documentarian, always drawn to exploring the expanse of space, time, and the Cosmos that we live in and lives in us.

Annu creates immersive audio-visual experiences that explore the ways in which technology can enhance human expression, creativity, and connection—to ourselves, one another, and nature. She composes and performs with her music gloves and experimental synthesizers that control both the audio and visual aspects of her live performances, crafting a unique blend of her Cyber Dream Pop sound that transports audiences to otherworldly realms.

In addition to creating immersive art installations and touring her show, Annu is preparing to release her debut EP, “LOVE,” in the Spring of 2024, and full length, “EXPERIENCE” in the Summer of 2024. Annu is the artist moniker of MaryLiz Bender — drummer/singer and co-producer of the dream pop outfit, Twin Limb, Mission Director at Everyday Astronaut, and Creative Director at Cosmic Perspective.
